Do ...


- wipe off excess skin oils & make-up after each wearing

- use a rub free, clean 100% cotton cloth, gently wipe the piece using only the soft pads of your fingers

- put your jewellery on AFTER applying hairspray, make-up, perfume and lotion

- wrap your jewellery in tissue paper and place it in airtight plastic bag  to avoid tangling and to help retard tarnish on SILVER

- clean PLAIN SILVER with warm water, a small amount of mild liquid soap, soak for 2-3 minutes, rinse & use a cotton cloth to wipe

- use a soft toothbrush to clean the back of GEMSTONES where dirt accumulates & rinse

- clean PLAIN BRASS & COPPER with combination of water, lemon or lime juice (a few drops) & salt (a teaspoon) apply carefully with a toothbrush or soft cloth, leave on for a couple of minutes, then rinse thoroughly. If needed, repeat.

- clean SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL with warm water, a mild detergent & a soft lint-free cloth

Don’t ...


- expose to household chemicals, bleach or chlorinated water

- sleep, swim, do household chores or exercise with your jewellery on

- clean using toothpaste, alcohol, nail polish remover or other abrasives

- reuse cleaning cloths

- use dips for PLAIN SILVER

- immerse soft, porous stones like Opal, Lapis Lazuli, Amber, Coral, Pearls or Turquoise in water

- expose Amethyst, Ametrine, Aquamarine, Aventurine, Beryl, Celectite, Chrysoprase, Citrine, Hiddenite, Kunzite, Rose & Smoky Quartz, Fluorite & Topaz to prolonged, bright sunlight

- use glass or window-cleaning fluids to clean SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL as they often cause streaking
