It is an ancient weaving crochet technique originated in Gujarati, India and spreaded throughout the oceans amongst the eastern Indonesian islands long time ago, by the Gujarati traders of sandalwood. This ancient technique was almost lost. 
The jewels are handcrafted by a group of expert master weavers and goldsmiths of Indonesian artisans under fair conditions and fair wage policy.
The aim has been to create a workforce and working environment which is comfortable, stress free and produces a good quality of life for all.
